Strainer made in polypropylene.
This iconic product was born from an ironic wink of humor, where we want to give a clear message about war’s effects.
The message begins taking a symbol, in this case a war helmet, then make a lot of holes until it becomes literally like a colander. The meaning of this action is the death and summarizes what awaits us at the end of a war. A leaky helmet means always death. Therefore we start from a holey helmet, then we designed a colander with a functionality, which is to strain water from pasta or other food.
The key is that we’ve given a new value, a change to the original product. With this action we allow people to reflect about the war’s carnage contribution or any kind of bickering, let people think about how we can find solutions much more sophisticated and useful. Small changes are always powerful.
